Randy went with the imprisonment novel Room, by Emma Donoghue [Amazon] [Goodreads] and Amy chose the 1998 comedy Can't Hardly Wait (which appears to be only available for digital rental on Google Play, but the DVD is dirt cheap on Amazon).
